I’m Michele Benton, and I founded Lime to breathe life into life science marketing. After over 15 years navigating global life science marketing landscapes—from launching products, creating new business models, and delivering $2B sales targets—I saw a critical gap. Marketing was disconnected, treating customers as transactions rather than humans and serving as a service arm to sales teams. In an industry focused on life, there didn’t seem to be life in a lot of what we were doing.

My journey across six countries and countless boardrooms revealed a profound truth: sustainable growth is not mechanistic, it’s human. Lime emerged from this insight. Our proven marketing ingredients bring together three key areas: creating disciplined customer focus, fostering critical and creative thinking, and leveraging our humanness—flaws and all.

With a PhD in social and behavioral science and on-the-ground leadership experience transforming marketing and sales capabilities for 4,500 commercial employees, I knew we could do better. Lime isn’t just another marketing consultancy. We’re cultivators, helping life science organizations unlock growth through the promise of life science marketing.
